Your life is precious and valuable, and you are gifted with what nurtures you daily, in fact in every moment. Without the abundance we receive from the natural environment life would not survive. Take time for yourself today to reflect, listen, and reciprocate the generosity received from the Earth in this gentle meditation, "Love Letters to the Earth."
With a brief reflection on a short poem by Thich Nhat Hanh, "Beloved Mother of All Things" we ground ourselves in our meditation. As you feel grounded and connected, you may move deeper into your meditation and find inspiration to write your own love letter to the earth, or to sing your soulful song, or perhaps paint a colorful mental image of your love and appreciation.
We each have a relationship with the Earth that is invaluable, as you explore your relationship, you may find your calm, your presence, and an understanding of the gifts you offer to the Earth.
